Exchange Programs

Exchange programs facilitate the mutual exchange of students, and academic, and administrative staff between different universities. Every year, numerous exchanges take place within the framework of international programs that play an important role in sharing inter-university experiences. Every Baku State University student can participate in the competitions for these exchange programs. At Baku State University, faculty-student exchanges are conducted in two directions. One of these is the Mevlana Program, which is primarily conducted with Turkish universities. Within the framework of this program, students study at various universities in Turkey for one semester. Teachers, on the other hand, gain the right to engage in the teaching process for one or two weeks. The other international faculty-student exchange program is the ERASMUS+KA171 program funded by the European Union, which is conducted with Germany, Poland, Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and other European countries. Baku State University (BSU) also collaborates within the framework of the Orkhun Exchange Program with universities that are members of the Union of Turkish Universities, which was established to promote cooperation in higher education among member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
