  • Heydar Aliyev Museum
  • BSU History Museum
  • Museum of Mineral Resources
  • Evolution Museum
  • Archaeology and Ethnography Museum

The first museum at BSU was established in 1920 to document the university’s history, preserving rich historical materials and facts. Evolution Museum was founded in 1937. Museum of Mineral Resources was established in 1943, Archaeology and Ethnography Museum began operations in 1976. Heydar Aliyev Museum was opened in 1997.

BSU museums preserve, research, and promote cultural and scientific heritage. They serve as educational and research platforms, enhancing the teaching process in relevant academic fields. The museums safeguard cultural artifacts and historical objects, making them accessible to visitors. The museums support academic programs by providing hands-on experience with collections and materials. Artifacts and collections are systematically discovered, collected, studied, and showcased to students and the public.

All museum collections at BSU are considered part of the university’s cultural and scientific heritage and are carefully preserved within the museum archives.
