The College started its activity in 1922 under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1963, it was renamed the Baku Plan-Accounting Technical School. On August 26, 2002, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was established on the basis of the Baku Plan-Accounting Technical School. On July 11, 2020, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was reorganized into the College of Economics and Humanities under Baku State University with the status of a public legal entity.
The College offers the following educational programs (curricula):
- Secondary education (for those with general secondary education);
- Vocational education;
- Sustainable education.
The College admits students for both secondary education (9-year base) and full secondary education (11-year base), on both state-funded and fee-based terms.
The College trains specialists in the following fields:
– Accounting;
– Finance;
– Banking;
– Library and information services;
– Archival work and administrative documentation;
– Environmental protection and efficient use of natural resources;
– Preschool education and upbringing;
– Family and home education.
Currently, there are 1,035 students enrolled in the College (for the 2021/2022 academic year).
121 teachers are involved in training specialists at the College.
