The college started operating under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1922, and since 1963, it has operated under the name of Baku Planning and Accounting College (Technicum).The College was created by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on2002August 26,based on Baku Planning and Accounting College (Technicum). It was restructured by transformation into the Economic and Humanities College with the status of a public legal entity under Baku State University by Decision No. 250 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 11, 2020.
The following educational programs (curricula) are implemented in the college:
- full secondary education (for those studying based on general secondary education);
- secondary vocational/professional education;
- supplementary education.
Students are accepted into the college both based on secondary education (9-year) and full secondary education (11-year) at the expense of the state budget and on a paid basis.
The college provides personnel training in the following specialties:
- Accounting;
- Finance;;
- Banking;
- Library-information provision;
- Archival and clerical work.
‒ Environmental protection and efficient use of natural resources;
– Pre-school training and education;
– Family education and homeschooling.
Currently, 1035 students are studying in the College (for the 2021/2022 academic year).
121 teachers are involved in the training of personnel in the college.
