Next Stage of "OIC Model Academy of International Relations – 2025" Project Launched at BSU

The next stage of the "OIC Model Academy of International Relations – 2025" project has been launched at Baku State University (BSU). The project is jointly implemented by The Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF – ERC), the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and BSU.
Agil Shirinov, Rector of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, delivered a lecture on the topic “What Has Islamic Civilization Given to the World?” He spoke about the historical development of Islam, the significant contributions of Islamic scholars to global science, and the evolution of statehood traditions in the Islamic world.
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, Maksat Mamytkanov, presented a report titled “The Role of International Organizations in International Relations, Foreign Policy Priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Relations with Azerbaijan.” He discussed the history and importance of international organizations such as the UN, UNESCO, and the OIC in promoting peace, security, and development, as well as their role in strengthening cooperation and maintaining regional stability.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, during which students’ questions were addressed.
