BSU Students Present Startup within the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Farming” Project

Students of Baku State University (BSU) presented their innovative startup ideas as part of the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Farming” project, implemented under the auspices of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The project aims to promote the use of artificial intelligence by introducing innovation and digital technologies in the agricultural sector.
As part of the initiative, a meeting with startup representatives was held, bringing together officials from the ministry, universities, and acceleration and incubation centers. During the event, Gurbanali Feyzullayev and Lyaman Imanzade, students of the Faculty of Biology at BSU, along with Nigar Iskenderova, a graduate of the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science, presented their startup “AgroScan.”
AgroScan is an innovative AI-based system that uses hyperspectral analysis technology to monitor plant health and soil conditions. The system processes hyperspectral images to detect water stress, diseases, and crop yield indicators at an early stage, providing the results to farmers through a mobile application. This solution helps optimize resource use, enhance productivity, and support sustainable agriculture.
