BSU Launches Master's Specialization in Biomedical Materials

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, Baku State University (BSU) will, for the first time, offer a master's specialization in Biomedical Materials at its Faculty of Biology.
The Biomedical Materials specialization will be introduced at the master's level for the first time in Azerbaijan. Developed based on the experience of the world's leading universities, the program is designed to train highly qualified professionals in biomaterials, regenerative medicine, implants, biosensors, and innovative medical technologies. Students will acquire both fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design, synthesis, analysis, and medical application of biomaterials.
Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to conduct research in BSU's state-of-the-art scientific laboratories, work with advanced laboratory equipment, participate in international research projects and collaborative programs, and prepare for doctoral studies. The curriculum will be delivered using innovative approaches and modern scientific methodologies.
