12 BSU Students Successfully Complete the IT SkillSprint Program
Twelve students from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, and the SABAH groups of Baku State University (BSU) have successfully completed the international intensive educational program IT SkillSprint.
A special achievement was recorded by Jamil Jafarli, a third-year student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics. His project, "Grove," which addresses environmental challenges, received the Special Jury Award at the program's final hackathon.
The program was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and the international educational company Ironhack. Over a six-month period, participants received training in data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, web development, and DevOps, while also working on real-world projects and participating in hackathons.
Upon successful completion of the program, the students were awarded internationally recognized certificates issued by Ironhack.
