Seminar at BSU: "Artificial Intelligence and the Professions of the Future"

The seminar "Artificial Intelligence and the Professions of the Future: How to Take the First Steps?" was jointly organized by BSU Volunteers and the Azerbaijan Institute of Artificial Intelligence.
During the seminar, Emil Abdullayev, Director of the Azerbaijan Institute of Artificial Intelligence, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the labor market, emerging professions, agent-based AI systems, the application of generative AI tools, and the importance of developing relevant competencies in today's rapidly evolving professional environment.
The speaker demonstrated how modern AI tools—including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Workspace AI—can be effectively integrated into educational and professional activities. He highlighted their capabilities, practical applications, and the opportunities they offer for learning, productivity, and innovation.
Emil Abdullayev also shared practical recommendations on the effective use of artificial intelligence, prompt engineering techniques, maintaining critical thinking skills, and developing emotional intelligence. Particular attention was given to the ethical use of AI technologies, data security, and the importance of preserving human responsibility in decision-making.
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which the speaker addressed numerous questions from the participants.
