Education Development Fund Covers IELTS Exam Costs for 139 BSU Faculty and Students
Throughout 2025, within the framework of the project “Incentivizing University Faculty and Students to Take the IELTS Exam,” the Education Development Fund covered the IELTS exam costs for 634 participants who achieved a score of 6.5 or higher.
Among the 634 participants who successfully completed the project and represented 15 higher education institutions, 139 were faculty members and students of Baku State University (BSU).
The project has been implemented since 2022. To date, the Education Development Fund has reimbursed the exam costs of 1,280 participants, including 377 BSU faculty members and students.
The project aims to create favorable conditions for faculty and students at higher education institutions to improve their English language proficiency and encourage participation in internationally recognized language assessments.
