Delegation from the R. B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies Visits BSU

Director of the R. B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies (Kazakhstan), Duken Masimkhanuly, along with institute representatives Bolat Gudaibergenuly and Saginis Amirbekova, visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Baku State University (BSU).
Dean of the Faculty, Aidan Handan, welcomed the guests and provided an overview of BSU’s history as well as the faculty’s academic development and current activities. During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the two institutions, including joint research projects, academic conferences, scientific seminars, and faculty and student exchange programs.
The guests were also introduced to the work of the faculty’s departments — Turkish and Arabic Philology, Middle Eastern Languages and Literature, and Far Eastern Languages and Literature — and had the opportunity to meet with students.
