BSU Rector’s Advisor to Conduct Research at the University of Cambridge

Guman Garayev, Advisor to the Rector of Baku State University (BSU) for Digitalization and Innovation, will take part in a research program hosted by the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom).
The research visit, which will take place from July 15 to August 15, aims to provide experience in the organization and management of research at a world-class research institution, as well as to conduct research on current computational challenges in structural biology. During the program, the study will focus on the adaptation of atomic structure models to low-resolution cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) maps.
The research is expected to contribute to the advancement of computational methods and their implementation as practical software solutions, while also enhancing expertise in the organization and management of scientific research.
