BSU Expands International Collaboration in Genetic Research

An article titled “A Mosaic of Modular Variation at a Single Gene Underpins Convergent Plumage Coloration”, co-authored by Abulfaz Taghiyev, Head of the Department of Zoology and Physiology at Baku State University (BSU), has been published in the prestigious journal Science.
With an impact factor of 45.8, Science ranks among the top journals in the first quartile (Q1) of the Web of Science and Scopus databases.
The study brought together 48 researchers from around 20 countries, including China, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Türkiye, Greece, Kazakhstan, Finland, Cyprus, and others.
