BSU and Istanbul University Scientists Discuss Cooperation Opportunities in Geography
An online meeting was held between the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University (BSU) and the Department of Geography of Istanbul University (Türkiye) to explore opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration.
During the meeting, participants discussed prospects for joint research projects, academic exchange programs, and the organization of conferences between the two faculties.
The meeting was attended by Rauf Hasanov, Head of the International Relations Department of BSU; Magsad Gojamanov, Dean of the Faculty of Geography; Deputy Deans Eltaj Jabiyev and Goshgar Mammadov; Professor Aydin Ibrahimov; Lecturer Anar Nuriyev; and, from Istanbul University, Barbaros Gonençgil, Head of the Geography Department; Professor Cihan Bayraktar; Associate Professor Kaan Kapan; and Associate Professor Mustafa Kahraman.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in various fields of geographical science, implementing joint research and internship programs, and fostering long-term academic partnerships.
