Duties of the Department:
- To participate in the creation or purchase of software used in teaching and administrative management at the university.
- To assist in the creation of electronic communication and information exchange among institutions within the university structure and its subordinate units.
- To organize the creation of multi-purpose web resources for the university and prepare proposals for updating their content and information.
- To participate in studying and applying international experience in the field of internet technologies.
- To ensure the use of internet technologies in organizing important local and international events.
- To provide access for university employees to international internet resources of which the university is a member.
Functions of the Department:
- To prepare proposals for developing information communication technology strategy and its implementation together with relevant institutions of the university.
- To organize secure and reliable network connections and data exchanges between university structures and ensure the flawless and reliable operation of existing systems.
- To provide access to the university's internet resources from the university's computer network.
- To provide remote access to some university internet resources.
- To develop the university's lecture database.
- To provide access to the Web of Science for university employees.
- To participate in organizing distance education.
