Abai Kunanbayev Kazakhstan Center
Since May 2011, the Abai Kunanbayev Kazakhstan Center at Baku State University (BSU) has been operating in honor of Kazakh poet, writer, public figure, and founder of modern Kazakh written literature, Abai Kunanbayev. The Center was established to further develop cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Its main activities include organizing cultural and social events, promoting detailed information about the cultures and traditions of both countries on a broader scale, and organizing meetings with renowned artists, writers, and poets.
The goal of the Center is to support the development of cultural and social cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, provide materials for those interested in learning about Kazakhstan’s culture and history, and implement various thematic projects to spread more information about the two countries’ cultures and traditions. The Center also facilitates student exchanges between the two countries.
Azerbaijan-Korea Information Technology Center
The Azerbaijan-Korea Information Technology Center was established on December 17, 2008, with direct support from the Republic of Korea and assistance from KADO (Korean Agency for Digital Opportunities and Promotion) to comprehensively support external and internal digital systems. In May 2012, a contract for the Center’s renewal was signed during a visit by Myungha Hong, Executive Director of the Korean National Information Society. The renovation included replacing the computer systems, establishing video conferences, and creating a virtual university.
The main goal of the Center is to introduce students to modern digital technologies and equipment, help them acquire the latest information technologies, and ensure their more active participation in the integration processes of a globalized world. The Center provides all the necessary conditions for students to enhance their computer knowledge and gain proficiency in programming languages. The Internet Lounge Room serves as a resource for students and researchers to obtain necessary information via the internet.
Russian Center
The Russian Center project is an international cultural initiative conducted in cooperation with leading global educational and teaching organizations, sponsored by the "Russkiy Mir" Foundation. The Russian Center at BSU was established in 2008 with financial support from the "Russkiy Mir" Foundation. The purpose of the Russian Center at BSU is to promote the Russian language and culture, support programs for promoting the Russian language abroad, and engage in various activities to foster intercultural dialogue and strengthen mutual understanding between nations. The Center, which includes a modern electronic library, promotes Russian language, history, and culture. It is equipped with a new methodological base, a conference hall, and an internet network, where events, meetings, and scientific-practical conferences involving renowned scholars and students are held.

The Center also provides free access to the electronic information databases of Russian media, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and information websites.
