Baku State University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) Announce Admissions to a Dual Degree Program

Baku State University (BSU) and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) are pleased to announce admissions to their joint dual degree master's program in Plant Biotechnology within the Biotechnology major.

Eligibility
The program is open to:
- Graduates holding a bachelor's degree in Biology, Biology Education, Chemistry, Chemistry Education, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Physics Education, or Ecology;
- Students admitted this year to a master's program at a higher education institution in Azerbaijan.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 80 (or equivalent);
- An IELTS score of at least 6.0 or a TOEFL iBT score of at least 89, or a commitment to obtain one of these certificates in the near future.
The International Dual Degree Program is funded by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan under Presidential Decree No. 673 of July 22, 2025, "On Additional Measures to Enhance the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan."
