Admission of foreign students through exams organized by the State Examination Center

The State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established by a decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 11, 2016. The State Examination Center is a public legal entity responsible for selecting candidates for public service, conducting admissions to higher and secondary specialized educational institutions regardless of organizational-legal and property forms, as well as organizing exams for government bodies, legal and physical entities on a contractual basis.

The State Examination Center conducts centralized student admissions for general education, secondary specialized institutions, and higher education institutions at the bachelor’s and master’s levels (basic education and residency in medical education), as well as for the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences at the master’s level. It also participates in shaping state policy in the field of public service and organizes test exams for admission to public service and for continuing in public service.
