Alish Choban oghlu Aghamirzayev – Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor

  • Born on March 15, 1973, in the village of Koryadi, Yardımlı District.
  • He enrolled at Baku State University (BSU) in 1991.
  • He served in the military service from 1994 to 1998.
  • In 1999, he graduated from BSU with a degree in Book Science and Publishing Editing (bachelor's degree), and in 2004, he completed his master's degree at BSU with honors.
  • From 2004 to 2007, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Publishing and Editing at BSU.
  • From 2007 to 2010, he was a lecturer at the Journalism Department of Baku Slavic University.
  • From 2010 to 2012, he served as a senior lecturer in the same department.
  • From 2012 to 2019, he was an associate professor at the Journalism Department of Baku Slavic University.
  • In 2019, he worked as the advisor to the rector of Baku State University on humanitarian and social affairs and information support.
  • Since 2019, he has been the Vice-Rector for Social Affairs, Student Affairs, and Public Relations at BSU and an associate professor in the Department of New Media and Communication Theory at the Faculty of Journalism.
  • He received his PhD in Philology in 2010. Since 2018, he has been a doctoral student in Philology at BSU.
  • He is the author of 1 textbook for universities, 3 course program, 70 scientific articles, and 2 compiled books. His works have been published in international scientific conferences in Norway, Romania, Turkiye, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
  • He is a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals "Actual Problems of Humanitarian Studies" and "Book Science and Editorial Art."
  • He is a member of the New Azerbaijan Party.
  • In 2019, he was awarded the "Baku State University 100th Anniversary (1919-2019)" Jubilee Medal by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
