VICTOR SADOVNICHIY, the Russian mathematician, full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and rector of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of Baku State University (BSU) by a decision made at the meeting of the Scientific Council of BSU on May 24, 2007.
